Doug Mastriano went on Timcast IRL
For those of you who don't know. Tim Pool is a left leaning centrist who has left the Democrat party. So, of course the mainstream media calls him a conservative.
Anyways, Mastriano went on his unscripted night time show and didn't back down from anything.
I had a "hold my nose and vote for him" feeling going into this, I feel a lot more happy about it now.

Re: Doug Mastriano went on Timcast IRL
I watched it last night and was pretty good. I recommend watching it. I voted for Mastriano in the primaries and have an overall good outlook on him. His negative view on recreational pot is dumb and I*m not even a user.
RCP aggregate polls now show Mastriano under the double digit lead that Shapiro held. Hopefully that trend continues over the next few weeks to put him in the margin of error. It*ll still be a tough shot but we shall see how the trend continues toward election day.

A conversation about crime transitions to 2A at around the 51:00 mark. Mastriano’s wife doesn’t hesitate to jump in the 2A conversation either

Yeah, if I remember correctly he was all in for Constitutional carry and "anti gun laws only help the criminals."
Great to hear a politician say without being really forced to do so.

It’s not just political pandering. He’s co-sponsored multiple pro-2A bills in the Senate
I listened to the entire interview throughout my work day. It was a good listen. I wasn’t surprised about anything regarding Mastriano. He’s directly in line with probably 99% of my political views, but I’ve known that for awhile. He did come off as much more down to earth and not as scripted in the long form interview, because he didn’t have to run down his platform in limited time. He and his wife could just be themselves and that is a huge benefit to him.
What did surprise me is how knowledgeable Tim Poole and his co-hosts are about any number of topics.
