Asolute and qualified immunity only protects local officials during "legitimate legislative activity". Pre-emption clearly spells out that legislative activity for firearms is left solely to the state, technically making his actions illegitimate. Have the Philthy police toss a carrier in the pokey and get a good lawyer: the mayor may be personally liable in a federal lawsuit (a lawsuit where the DA isn't that underwear skidmark named Krasner).

I had thought about Gunlawyer*s comments on the Erie 8, and went back to read the actual edict from the mayor. It is well constructed, and he may have a legal leg to stand on. What we need is our state legislator to broaden the scope of preemption next time they take the time to add some teeth for those that break the law.

We tried. We got HB 979 to the Governor's desk and he vetoed it.

It just amazes me that people actually vote for this kind of crap. So much hard work put in by groups and individuals to advance forward/acknowledge our God given rights and people just give it all up for elected officials like this garbage Mayor. You'd think that by now these people would've realize that those elected officials aren't doing anything to make anyone lives better off at least for the masses. Yet they'll vote these same people back in over and over again. Relentless stupidity at its finest. Get ready for the Gov's race. God help us all.

A judge permanently enjoined the city from enforcing the mayor’s executive order today.

Kenney and Fetterman together? The Furries will have a gun free sanctuary.
