Ideas for Bicycle carry
Am starting to ride the trails more than the road. Alway Carry some sort of gun when I ride LCP, P365 etc because in remote areas people have been attacked by legged critters. But when I ride, I typically have the gun in the back of my Camelback, as it really sags in the rear pocket of my cycling jersey.
Looking for ideas to mount it to one of the slings on the Camelback which go over my shoulder, as it is 1) the perfect place to grab in case I should need it, 2) is not in the line of sweat which will be dropping off of me during hard rides, and 3) should not jostle around too much in that location.
Anyone have a similar rig? Or a good idea for a mount to the sling? The USA is now a banana republic. Only without the bananas....or the Republic.

Re: Ideas for Bicycle carry
A friend of mine jogs with a 365 in a belly band. Says it holds it securely.
My problem with anything wrapped tightly around me when I am biking is the sweat. A belly band will get soaked in the summer and wet salty sweat is really bad for guns.
I am also looking for a solution to carrying while biking as I get pretty far from help sometimes. And I don't want a rig that keeps the gun on the bike. I want it on my person.

Re: Ideas for Bicycle carry
I tried several things for pre-dawn morning walks with pocketed sweat pants and ended up preferring to carry a PPSM2 loose in the right pocket. I carry my phone and a light in the other. Gun is in condition III. I've been running/jogging/walking this route for 34 years and never encountered any problems so I'm not overly concerned about possible trouble.

Haters gonna hate, But I use a Galco escort fanny pack. belly bands just plain suck when sweating or exercising. under a dress shirt in an air conditioned space sure. When Im in a pair of Teva sandals Magnum PI UDT shorts and a t shirt , not many other options. And no they are not effeminate or ghey as folks consider them to be. I can fit the J frame two speed loaders, cell phone and a money clip with cash/cards, the benchmate folder clipped to the belt and the car keys all in one kit. Never had a single weird look from someone thinking it screams gun inside as the internet forums seem to profess about waist/fanny packs
Did I mention this also works great when on the motorcycle in the summer months sans jacket.
