seems easy .... until some psycho ex decides to lie to the authorities and paint you as an abuser or worse. I've been there eventually it was all dropped but that didn't mean it didn't apply the restrictions that came with it at the time until it was.

if you walk among the people freely, you retain all your rights as a human.
if you are kept in a cage, you lose your rights during the period we have decided to strip you of your humanity.
when you are released, you regain your rights.
    it is pretty simple really.

governance for the sake of "safety" is exactly the problem.

Except today there are some DA*s that don*t want to put ANYONE in jail. Even many who deserve it.

There is also the issues of parole and probation to deal with.

So am I mistaken when I feel as though they would love to put me in jail, simply for being UltraMAGA, gun rights supporter while they leave the real criminals loose on the streets?

in the current system, but in the proper system if you are safe enough to be let out of the cage, you have your rights.
interaction with the "law" and "courts" or judicial system in general should be as rare as it is severe. IE very rare and very severe. from "years in prison" to "death by the end of the week" not daily for a fine for this and a year of 'monitoring' for that.
interactions with a heavily armed populace should be a daily occurance.

Apologies for resurrecting a necro-thread. I was just reading up on 2A law changes around the country when this one popped up on my radar.

Does this ruling apply anywhere outside of Texas, or is this specific to that district and only that district?
