Default Any speculation with State house and Senate races?

I'm curious with redistricting of the state house what your thoughts were....I have spoken to several Republican Committee members and their responses are from "We will hold the house and senate" to "We will have slight gains" to a few stating "we will narrowly lose the house but keep the state senate".

The Committee members that think we'll hold the house believe so due to numerous Hispanics flipping to Republican and even blacks are fed up with what's going on.
Me? I tend to be a bit of a pessimist/realist but I have no idea how the new redistricting will effect the state races. Thoughts?

    .
It is looking like we go from 113 Republicans in the House to 107 to 109. So we should still hold the majority. The Senate will stay about the same or lose one Republican.

Re-districting plays a large part in the expected R losses for this Nov

The Democrats realize this fall will be a red wave. They are planning on taking the majority in two years.

And that's on a Democrat "off" year---I bet if the districts remained the same we would have gained 5-7 more seats. However, if it buys us 2 years, that is huge in this day and age.
