I have both a Ap5 and a Ap5-p, and both have been flawless. Suppressed and unsupressed, 0 issues.

Anyone do any upgrades? Or have any good/ bad experieneces with any parts?

Upgrading safety lever to magpul for easier reach; added a mag release extension for one finger push mag dropa; got RTG 80deg for 147gr if I eventually run suppressed; added optic claw (dont recall manuf) and had to buy longer screws to get it on.

I mounted a slx prism forward above trigger guard and practicing compressed cheek weld shooting (like demonstrated concepts) bc of the brace nonsense

I want to add a light at 45deg so shopping handguards (not sure i like the undermount style)

Also debating buying a full spare bolt to have just in case.

I had to add 3 HK parts to my AP5-P when I first got it due to reliability issues, which is common on some of the P models, some work great and some don’t. I put in a HK factory extractor, extractor spring and ejector, since then over 3k rounds suppressed and unsuppressed with zero malfunctions, when shooting the P model suppressed make sure you use a 80* locking piece as well or you can damage the receiver. I only use the 80* when running suppressed, non suppressed I use the factory 100* locking piece.
    Today was a good day!
