Default 760 Remington what's it worth.

looking for the value of a Remington 760 pump 36-06 carbine
only blemish is on the stock nicks and finish is cracking and flaking.
just looking for average coast I was looking at one another forum for $1400 seem to be a bit on the high side.

This is a true carbine with “Carbine” stamped on the barrel. Manufactured in February 1961 (H barrel stamp)
    Original 4 round magazine
3-9x Bushnell scope mounted on Wide view see through scope mounts.

I've seen them in ads for 700 to 800 but I sold 3 for less.
One pretty beat up.for 400, another in .35 rem for 475. And a nice one for 500.

I think you may find someone who will.pay more but think there's a threshold of what you can expect.

Good luck. Mags are sometimes an issue with feeding.
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

$700-$800. They are starting to pop up here at the gun shows, had hands on one with proper era scope in 85-90% condition 2 mo ago. $750 asking price. Another one (model 7600) for $699 in better shape than the first one.

    truegunvalue.com - avg. selling price $1117.00

    gunbroker.com actual recent sales - $750 - ~ $1200 ( unless mint condition)

The rare calibers are fetching a premium, 30-06 is common in those, I*ve seen them between 700-800 lately.
