    Good question.

To some degree yes. But since BGC's are required for all new retail gun purchases and all handgun purchases in PA (foregoing the inheritance/family situation) we're already traced even when paying cash.

"Priscilla Sims Brown, the president and CEO of the bank, said on Sept. 9: *We all have to do our part to stop gun violence. And it sometimes starts with illegal purchases of guns and ammunition."

Okay. Arrest and lock up for a long time those who use guns to commit violence.

"The new code will allow us to fully comply with our duty to report suspicious activity and illegal gun sales to authorities without blocking or impeding legal gun sales,* she said in a statement. *This action answers the call of millions of Americans who want safety from gun violence and we are proud to have led the broad coalition of advocates, shareholders, and elected officials that achieved this historic outcome."

What "illegal" gun sales? Only law-abiding people are allowed to buy guns. They have no idea what a person is going to do with the firearm they purchase. If the person is making a straw purchase, that is illegal, and nobody knows about it until after the fact, so how is this code going to have any relevance? They are in effect putting the cart before the horse. Total control has arrived friends.

Gun stores need to tell Visa that they sell tampons to trans people. That should get them off their back. Seriously, maybe the CC companies don't need to know what the store sells.

Because everyone knows most criminals walk into Cabelas with their credit card/s

Seriously, what is the point of this if KNOWN CRIMINALS are not arrested or jailed? Or of they are arrested, are let out on minimum cash bail? This reads like a bad SNL skit.

It is obvious to anyone with even a single digit IQ. Their goal is to track you and me, the LAW ABIDING. How even a single gun owner could ever vote dem is beyond me.

Liberal "logic": Cash carries the coronavirus and must be eliminated, but the reusable grocery store bags do not.

I occasionally use them for points. A $1000 gun will get me 20 bucks worth of ammo.
