Concealed carry Reciprocity

After looking at your chart showing Concealed Carry Reciprocity by State, I still have a question about the complete clarity of a non-resident with a Concealed Carry License from Virginia. I am a Virginia resident and I have a Virginia concealed carry permit. Am I reading it right, that if I have a lawful carry permit from Virginia and I am a Virginia Resident, Pennsylvania honors that, and I can carry concealed in my auto and on my person?

My understanding is Pennsylvania no longer has reciprocity with Virginia. Do not trust this site, there are not regular updates to the reciprocity agreements listed here. Go to https://www.handgunlaw.us/ for up to date information.

ETA: You may carry within your vehicle on your person, but not outside of your vehicle concealed on your person. https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs...tn=6&subsctn=0 See 6106, paragraph b, exception 11.

While no license is required to carry openly in PA (except in cites of the First Class) I do not think it advisable to carry in your vehicle under this exception, and then carry openly on your person when out of the vehicle, even though it would appear to be legal.

Where did you read that? PA canceled many agreements during the
Criminals reign of the AG office.

My CCW app shows no reprocity with VA, but PA should allow you to
Get a PA permit when you*re up visiting

You are correct. Pennsylvania honors Virginia concealed carry permits.
