Ruger LC Carbine in 5.7x28
They should have started with a Charger version that took 30 round mags, but I'm sure people will buy this one.

Re: Ruger LC Carbine in 5.7x28
I like 5.7 but i don't like that. It defeats the purpose. The 5.7 cartridge has burned it's load in 10", as designed. 5.7 is a pdw cartridge designed for very compact weapons. Look at the p90 vs ps90, 10.4" vs 16" barrel velocities with the same cartridge.
This makes as much sense as a 16" 9mm, which I also don't understand. But at least 9mm isn't a buck a round.

I like it, but its BS that the pistol comes with 2 mags but this only has one.

Re: Ruger LC Carbine in 5.7x28
The 5.7 round does not peter out after 10.4 inches. The faster 5.7 goes, the more energy it delivers, and it can use all the speed it can get. I never understood why anyone who was serious about running 5.7x28 for HD in a PS90 cut the barrel down to the 10.4 inch length of the P90. It might look cool and fulfill some sort of Stargate cosplay fantasy, but you are sacrificing 300-400 fps of velocity (depending on ammo choice), and you gain very little in terms of tactical advantage. If you can't navigate your house with a PS90, you need to take a class. Also, if you're not running at least SS198, you're doing it wrong. SS197 is for plinking. Elite Ammunition S4 or T6-B or Vanguard Outfitters' Black Fang are even better options, albeit very expensive ones.

I would wait on buying this one. Ruger's quality control is questionable.
