    AR57 upper attaches to lower, takes p90 mags. Infinitely better than this ruger abomination.

    Not really. They tend to be unreliable. Also, because of the magazine placement, your options for optics are limited. On the plus side you can use whatever AR lower you want, which means better trigger options. And, if you cut the top off of an AR mag and take out the guts, it works as a brass catcher. A standard 30 round mag will hold 50 5.7x28 cases. And again, that's provided it actually works.

    I would bet that the standard ar15 buffer spring would be to strong and hte buffer to heavy for 5.7 to run reliably. But if you changed them out for lighter ones I bet you could get it running reliably.
