Driving through South Carolina with PA lctf

I just want to be clear on one thing about my drive to Florida coming up, with a valid license to carry firearms from PA while traveling through South Carolina I can keep a loaded handgun in the glove box correct?
Everything else seems to be getting clearer the more I dig.

And if you stay overnight, transport up and down from your room is explicitly covered by law.

Imagine that, a gubment decided that it would be better to let us carry it to our room over leaving it out in the car overnight. They must have some fart smellers down there. Are they the ones who let us run over protestors blocking the road too?
