    This ATF memo was dated in March. Today, close to 5 months later, we hear the first (to my knowledge) unsubstantiated allegation that the ATF visited a private citizen re some FRT in his possession. And, according to the YouTube Guns and Gadgets tipoff, this person had two devices in his possession. It seems odd to me that 5 months later the first targeted enforcement would be for only two devices.
    But that's just me.

    John Crump, of the Ammoland news site, is claiming that the ATF are using controlled buys on websites (so far only Gunbroker is named) to track sellers and develop lists of buyers.

    Yes. Read the memo. They determined some forced reset triggers (a genre, not a brand) were machine guns. Therefore those triggers were illegal under existing law. I don*t have to agree with their memo to understand it.
