Everyone knows, the AK is the weapon of our enemies. Bring your sickly AR to me, I*ll convince it to behave.

    Lousy short armed communists....
You don't need to hold them firmly to cycle,
Simply the AK is a workhorse.
Ive be frustrated that an AR could fail if not shouldered well, I have both and if my AR failed like that, Ive toss it in the trash, Something is wrong, Keep shooting it until something fails where you will see it,

So the question was raised about whether holding an AR firmly into your shoulder was necessary for proper function. This Demo Ranch vid says yes. See the 458 SOCOM at around the 8:15 min mark.

Yes, this is a fact. An AR CAN jam from from *limp shouldering*, *limp bodying*, *limp DIC***, err, uh ok not that. But whatever you wish to call it. It is a stovepipe just as Glocks do. And is common with new shooters.
