    Default Has philly gotten their act togethet with LTCF issuance times?

    I was hoping to renew in Allegheny but life happens Philly will not let you renew before 60 days of your expiration date are they still doing the months long stuff. ? Need to know because mine expires around the holidays

    Apply, renew is all the same process. What if you lost your other one and want to apply for a new one?

    Probably true in a lot of counties. Bucks has the same restriction.

    Yes they have, got mine within 30 days I think it was and have heard of some within 2 weeks

    Its online and The system will ask for the exp date and will not let you proceed if it is more than 60 days . There is a separate link for replacements

    That's true, but once you apply it's now quick.
    I renewed in March. Submitted online, received approval in about 24 hours. From there you make a pickup appointment. Earliest available time might be two weeks out, it varies.
    Biggest problem is lack of parking on Erie Ave.

    Yes,parking sucks in that area with all those industrial businesses claiming most of the curb space.I have always had to park nearly a block away from the office.

    Update... I was able to get in within 5 days. Big change from the 5 months it took 10 years ago They also took my Allegheny Co. LTCF and refused to return it even though it expires in less than a month. When I renewed in Allegheny they gave me back both and told me to use the one they issued. also Staff was still Just as rude as i remember.. guess some things never change.
