SCOTUS is going to rule on *independent state legislature* theory. Some say the decision won't come until next year but some are speculating it could happen this Fall prior to the 2022 mid terms.

Context, for us plebs that dont follow the news outside of Poofa?

In 2015 Republicans were complacent and the Democrats flipped 3 seats turning Pa from 4-3 Conservative to 5-2 liberal. We*ve been paying for it since.

Next Supreme Court election is next year. It is a democrat up for reelection. If that flips it will be 4-3 liberal

Next election after that is 2025. 3 Democratic seats will be up for reelection.
