    Default MP5 Clones

With the prices of MP5 clones in free fall (Turkish economy and inflation is worse than ours) who else is jumping into the platform?

I never did because of price but for $1200 and change for the AP5 Core with brace, it's hard to pass. I ordered a full size from Atlantic.

QC complaints are frightening me a bit, but let's see what happens. It is a NATO factory (MKE) and the issues seem to favor the K size so I hope it's uneventful getting it broke in.

Looking forward to your experience. There have been instances of issues, with Century not incredibly helpful, but how many have been sold? Probably far less than 1% have problems.

Worst case scenario, you're not going to spend another $2000 to get if 'fixed.' (SP5 price.)

Caught my eye too, almost had to do a double take with the current prices. But its ultimately not in the budget right now.

I did grab a Turkish M4 clone though, also well below even the normal going rate.

Century arms products are so such garbage they won't even accept them at police buy back programs.

....years ago I was in a local shop and they had a CA 308 rifle,CETME clone. The thing was like eight hundred bucks, came with ten magazines and the salesman was practically begging me to buy it.I knew about Century's reputation back then.

They're not a Century built firearm, Century is simply the importer. MKE, which is part of a well established NATO factory, is the manufacturer.

They're so such garbage that Hipoint owners laugh at them.
