    Nobody mentioned the little 22 cal center fire rounds. 218bee 219zipper 221fireball. These were the ground hog cartridges your grandfathers used to shoot.

    Father in law still uses a 22hornet for them.

    Shot lots of them at my old house with a remington 597 .22 using their subsonic rounds. Little shits would dig under my shed and swimming pool. The trick was to leave a window open facing the area where the groundhogs were with the rifle nearby. I had a bathroom / snipers nest combo going on at my old place.

    Don't underestimate the 17 hmr,Taken many a groundhog out to 125 yards !
