Voter ID card is one of the accepted forms of identification.

Went today. Upstairs to pay, downstairs to drop off application and take pic. Quick and not busy. Was told 30 days.

Received in the mail this week. So about 3 1/2 weeks. Not bad.

I've been through this twice since I forgot to renew the last time around. Both times it was quick and easy w/ a 2-3 week wait for the ID.

On a side note, the last time I was there I was very impressed with the self-restraint exercised by the female deputy while some a**hat cursed her out and yelled at her. He kept trying to provide unaccepted proofs of residence despite both the sign on the door and the letter he was holding in his hand stating the same. She just calmly kept repeating that she couldn't accept what he had. I would have been tempted to pepper spray him.
