I bought a dead air mask which has been on a Marvel .22 conversion kit on a colt rail gun frame for a couple months. It*s great for practice in the shop but I had it out on the deck July 4th weekend.

My two late teen nieces had a blast tumbling cans and water bottles with it for a couple hours. Cheap dollar wise for a lasting memory with their beloved crazy uncle.

How do you like the Dead Air Mask? I keep going back and forth with getting a suppressor for a .22

It*s the invasive species ass. Quiet as a mouse pissin on cotton and the back pressure allows it to operate the crappy ammo the factory sweeps off the floor, in my Marvel kit.

It*s also full auto rated and is a real hoot to use on my m16 .22 lr kit. It*s a very nice design that*s easy to maintain. I did a few sbr conversions for customer*s PS90*s and they use them as well. They*re rated for 5.7 as well as .22

Yes, and my spouse too.

Sadly, my energy level is so low, i just dont shoot much.

And thats with a 40 yard range in my back yard, casting my own boolits, and handloading.
