Default Best purpose built concealed rifle cases?

I'm looking for options for the smallest most discreet AR15 case.

Presumably it'll be something that has the upper and lower separated to keep the size down.

I guess I'm open to hearing homemade options. But they need to hold the rifle securely.

Let me know if something sucks too. I don't want to waste money on something bad.

Are you willing to separate the upper from lower? I suspect that would open a lot of options for you. Or do you want it ready?

I appreciate the idea here. But I'm not a sports guy.

I would be less conspicuous in my neighborhood walking down the street with a rifle on my back than with a tennis bag.

Additionally, it is CRITICAL that the rifle has a means to be secured within whatever bag or case i use.

I have the savior guitar case.. But it is just too big. As in too deep and probably a hair longer than needed too.. So it becomes more of a pain than it is worth. And it uses soft foam which cuts really unpleasantly. I like that kaizen foam a lot and wish they had used that.

I see they now make a slightly smaller "fiddle master" model. But it is too small and no foam. Everything is secured by straps.

I am thinking i might go to the music shop and get a thin electric guitar case and just foam it myself and cut it out.

I fully expect to have to separate the two. It is just for covert transport. My life isn't that exciting that i expect to have to open up a case and start shooting.

What do you mean by "secured"? Lockable case, or just something to keep the rifle from moving around inside?

Just something to keep it from moving around inside. Outside locks are unimportant. It is just a from point a to point b thing with me. Not a storage thing.

Here's a tool backpack I picked up. It works for an AR PISTOL.
It has a divided interior, so the upper and lower aren't banging into each other.
There's nothing to hold them in place, but it's good enough for me.

Here's the thread that I posted it in that may give you other ideas.
(haha! I just realized it was your thread)
