You were stopped, not pulled over in a vehicle correct? What was the reason they "stopped" you. When did that happen, because there uis a recent court ruling saying police cant stop you for carrying a pistol. Are you looking to buy or do you already have the glock, then get a 19. It is impossible for others to tell you is you can conceal something becuase differen levels of expertise and angles are at play when saying it concealed enough...

I carry a gen 5 G17 quite often. In Summer, I wear a CrossBreed Supertuck IWB right at 3 O*clock right on my side. Adjust for a forward cant and have a short sleeve button down to cover, and as stated earlier a Hawaiian shirt is an excellent example. I wear a thin tee shirt under it which keeps the grip off my bare skin. In Winter I carry in a high rise OWB also 3:00 with a sweatshirt to cover or just go with same IWB as Summer but with a different shirt.

Why 3:00? It*s an easy, natural draw and it*s the most comfortable. In a crowd or when someone is behind me I can cover it with my arm at my side.

Sometimes I carry a G48 IWB with just a cover Tee, sometimes I pocket carry a snub nose, but I prefer the G17.

My advice would be if you*re not comfortable carrying a G17 then get something thinner with a smaller grip, but if you try how I carry I think you*ll be fine. I quit giving a damn about printing years ago, but this setup has never drawn any unwanted attention/reaction.

Glock 19 would perhaps be better to CC.... and it's also a nice shooting gun. My 5'4" 130 lb wife regularly carries a full size Sig P320.... concealed. It's all in the over garment.

Can you ? Sure , I've done it . As a few have alluded , it can be done with various full size guns .

BUT .... It does require a degree of dressing around the gun , and careful selection of holsters , to work for your exact body contours .

I don't even worry about printing anymore, I just wear T-shirts that are a little baggy. People are so caught up in their phones they are pretty much like the walking dead. If anyone does ask, tell them it's your insulin pump.

    I carry an m18 and a 19x. 17 is only slightly smaller.
With the right holster and placement anything is possible.

    I don't have the M18, but if I had a G18 I would be posting daily vids!
