Black Codes of the 19th Century
Mr. Phillip Smith the head of the NAAGA (National African American Gun Association) appeared before a Senate hearing today and he said the following: “Today, in 2022, restricting American citizens from purchasing firearms has the same effect as the black codes of 1865. The end result is people, especially black folks, are unable to secure a gun, which leaves them vulnerable. To me, that is unacceptable and un-American.”
Smith recalled “black codes” that were used throughout the post-Civil War South to prevent black Americans from owning guns and being able to defend themselves. He said, “The goal of these laws was to keep the black community under control and defenseless.”
Smith also highlighted surging gun ownership among black women, saying, “Black women are coming, and they are coming in large numbers. Currently they are the fastest group of new gun owners in the United States and I’m proud to say they are the backbone of the National African American Gun Association.” (From our friends at Breitbart)
I never heard about NAAGA before today, but I totally support them.Relationships between men and women can be difficult - but not impossible.

Re: Black Codes of the 19th Century
Is there a NWAGA? Or an Asian gun owners Association?
No, because that's racist. Why do blacks need to segregate themselves in everything? Just be part of society as a whole and take part in the American experience.
Plessy v. Ferguson was overturned in 1954

I think it was NAAGA that held armed marches/protests a couple years ago and someone (leader?) had a negligent discharge during one.
