As a convicted felon, I'm not allowed to own any. I hope that's OK with you.

Re: Phone call asking about guns in home
My doctor's medical assistant has long ago stopped asking me the question about guns in the home. I used to keep photos of guns keyed up in my phone, and would go on at length about the "new ones I got since my last appointment."
Another is "Do you feel safe at home?"
"Sure, between the guns, the dog, the burglar alarm, the video cameras, no problem. Now about the government, let me tell you . . . "
Yeah, she stopped asking that one, too.

The answer is, NO. If you're ever somehow challenged, you misunderstood the question. I thought you meant "unsecured guns".

Visiting nurse survived. Not sure whether she noticed the Guns and Ammo magazine on the dining table
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Re: Phone call asking about guns in home
We get a few calls a year from our Medicare Advantage Plan offering a "totally free" in home visit from a nurse who specializes in senior care and who will check the home and offer suggestions for better safety, etc etc.

"There have been incidents."I bet that there have been a few including dogs in patient's homes yet she didn't ask if you have any dogs in the home.
