I live out of state and am planning on flying back to hunt the early muzzle loader season this year. Is it possible to find real black powder locally (Mercer county) at the moment? If I were to buy an inline are 209 primers and black powder substitutes anymore available than real black powder?

If you're willing to travel to Butler County, Curts Black Powder Shop in Fenelton might have what you need.

209s are coming back, but are still ridiculously expensive. Black powder is available in 3F. 2F is sparse. I see plenty of pellet type substitutes.

4FA is the same size as 2FG, not graphite tumbled however. Fire Art in Clearfield has it if you're willing to travel. It's Schuetzen "A" grade powder.
