Going to hospital for a few days
Normally I carry as normal when going to hospital. But I'm going in for 3-4 days for my wife when they induce her for the birth of my son. Hospitals aren't on PA protected list, only mental hospitals. It's not comfortable to keep it on me for days on end, but I'll have a backpack. Suggestions?

Leave it in the backpack when you get tired of carrying.

Don't they usually boot the women out after like 24hrs? Might not have to worry.

Carry something smaller and more comfortable? There*s a place in the arsenal for pocket pistols.

Amen to pocket pistols. One of my faves is the colt vest pocket 25. Not a heavy hitter but better than a empty hand.

I carry a Glock 43X in a small hiking butt pack everywhere. Hospitals. Doctor's offices. The beautician that cuts my hair. The mall. Everywhere, during warm weather.
You look like a dweeb, but in 15 years of doing it, no one has ever caught on.
I even tak it off and set it and my ball cap, etc. on the floor of the doctor's office when they weigh me, then pick it up to walk to the exam room. No one has ever asked, "whatcha got in there?"Sed ego sum homo indomitus

FYI - many hospitals now have metal detectors at security checkpoints somewhat like at a courthouse.

When my wife was in the hospital for 10 days (twice), I stayed there with her. Kel-Tec P32 was my friend.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.
