Did that 20 years ago also.

Do the ghost tour on Steinweir that sells tickets from the baseball memorabilia shop by the 5 points.

That one is one of the two researched authors. My daughter worked there.

Were you in the new visitors center? It is considered a Federal Building, even without detectors.

I can neither confirm nor deny my location 10 years ago.

I think there were signs at the new center.

They really did an impressive job with the new center. much improved over the old exhibits [probably took away 1000's of weapons] and the new location for the cyclorama is outstanding.

We went to Gettysburg and did the bus tour. there are no firearm signs on the buses but are no detectors inside the gift shop where you purchase the tickets

I second this, we did the horse tour a few years ago and it was pretty fun. I think the entire tour took a couple of hours and you get a first hand look at a lot of the historic sites. As for firearm signs I can't recall where all they were at but there are a handful of actual gun shops in the main town of mostly historic firearms and swords. I'd also recommend stopping at the Dobbin House for lunch/dinner, be sure to go to the basement.

Been on the bus many times. If you are talking about the battlefield tour you will be fine. They have no detectors on the bus or the bus buildings. FYI if the busses are empty you might not even get a ride. Little round top and Devils den were closed last weekend for repairs. My kid was up with the MIL and she was very disappointed.
