Putting her on the short list doesn't mean that she's really underconsideration. It's sometimes done as a "favor" of standing to people who the new president wants as allies. Besides, if she becomes Sec of State, she stops becoming a Senator, and will tie herself to Obama's bidding..

It's possible she'll accept, but I don't think she's a serious consideration.

The Secretary of State easily helps engineer the acceptance by the USA of the UN Civilian Disarmament Treaty. That's what the State Department has to do with it.

Obama will sign it. A Democrat Congress will ratify it. The newly appointed Obama Supreme Court will rule that a UN Treaty, approved in accordance with the Constitution, trumps the bill of rights in the US Constitution. Obama's Civil Defense Force, operating under the jurisdiction of the UN and wearing the UN Blue Helmets, will enforce it.

Robert Mugabe and all of his fellow tyrants, thugs and Islamic royalty that dictate UN policy will be ecstatic with Hillary in charge. For Hillary, the thought that she would be the catalyst that leads to the violent and forcible disarming of law-abiding US citizens who routinely vote against her would be all the incentive she needs. I think she would enjoy every bloody minute of it. Sadly, so would most Democrats. Democrats that won't enjoy it will likely be the few that are suffering from it.
