Nope and Krapner doesn't like corrections officers either. He seems to view them with the same loathing as he does police officers.

As for leniency, he's a corrections officer, however, he's in Philthy.... so what color is he? you need to get all the facts to figure out if he'll be prosecuted or not!
What would have prevented the hoodlum from shooting the carjacking victim after getting in the car? If the victim shot and hit the car door, id say he was still within the danger zone?

From what I read, the shots went through the door, which makes me think the door was closed. But what if someone took your gun and ran off, would you be able to shoot him with your backup gun? A car can do more damage than a gun, so wouldn't you have an obligation to attempt to stop him?

Krasner ought to view Correction Officers the same as Police, from behind bars.

....about a year ago a corrections officer was attacked by an inmate in the city's prison. The officer, who happens to be quite up in age used his walkie radio to defend himself against the inmate. He was eventually able to get the upper hand especially after help arrived. The officer sustained some minor injuries at the hands of the young, violent non compliant inmate but that didn't stop Krapner from charging the officer with assault and possession of an instrument of crime.
The weak ass case is still pending as Krapper keeps postponing it and the officer cannot return to work.

    from the article:
The bullets went through the driver's side window, the door and the front windshield.
In my mind I imagined a guy trying to drive away with bullets flying in from the rear. Maybe the thug was trying to run the guy over...

I thought we were allowed to shoot a perp to prevent them from committing a felony, would that not apply here?

Just wait until Krasner starts charging self defense shooters with voter suppression.

I'm just waiting for someone to shoot Krapner while he is out on one of his PR stunt strolls through Kensington!
