I am a non-resident and received a MD license to carry.

I feel the same way about MD as I do about Philthytown. You may have a license to carry but do you have the right to defend yourself?

Truthfully, I'd be hesitant too. I'm more interested in just being legal driving through. It's the main barrier heading south and it would definitely make me much less anxious with it.

    ^^^^this

The main gotchas are MD has a duty to retreat and you can*t protect property with you gun. Which is so very ironic
Because befor Breun, the only way to get a permit was if you had business property to protect.. fvcktards

Also, keep up with the ever Changing local laws, I believe one MD county has gone NYC woke and has 100yd protections
Around almost every type of structure, which includes roads and highways. Maybe Saint Thomas will drop in and give them
A 2A beat down soon enough

I am going to apply since I would be exempt from the training with my DD214. Has anyone applied for the Wear and Carry that is prior service?

Was pretty easy. You upload the DD-214 to the website.

You do have to physically go to MD for fingerprints.

Total cost for the fingerprints and the app fee was like $150ish

Takes about 90 days after you submit.

But start reading up on MD restrictions now because there are MANY that don't show up on the State Police website. Most.of grossly unconstitutional per Braun but those commies don't care.

Thanks for the info...sounds pretty straight forward. I was considering getting the Utah to carry in DE, but the MD one is even better, so I'm going that route.

BTW, DE does not recognize MD CCW, so if your goal was DE, this isn't the way. I have both Utah and FL for carrying in DE.
