Looked more like he shot him because he was charging at him.

Unfortunately, I closed the tab with the "yew tube" video and when I tried watching again just now, it just buffers every 2 seconds, so I'm not dicking around waiting for it to load to watch it again.

Dude. What's so hard to understand?
You must log in to view on YouTube. I don't have a way to do that. No "login" - not signing up.

That "Yew tube" workaround I CAN watch, but it lags every 2 freaking seconds, making it unwatchable until it fully loads.

    Man.

But more than that, shootings are not always as cut and dry as we want them to be. There is that ugly suicide By cop problem.

This was pretty cut and dry, and the body (and in this case, especially the dash cam) make it super
Clear, but not every situation is like this one,

That said, the entire thing shows the police department in a good light, including the continued recording for several minutes until after the incident until the officer was no longer involved and it being cleared by the chain of command to turn off etc.

But some basic first aid, once additional officers arrived on scene, would have made that
Light look better, and I strongly doubt would have changed the outcome.

    .
I noticed that also. Our Directives have been rewritten to include first aid almost before the body hits the ground.

Sometimes it will make a difference, most time it won*t. But like you said *Optics*
