Default Re: 37 House Democrats roll out a bill to hit AR-15-style weapons with a 1,000% tax t

Rep. Donald Beyer of Virginia formally rolled out the "Assault Weapons Excise Act" ...

It would exempt ammunition, along with recreational weapons used for hunting. It also wouldn't apply to the estimated 20 million AR-15-style weapons legally circulating around the US.
Interesting that a VA Rep introduced the bill that exempts weapons used for hunting, considering an AR-15 can be used for hunting in VA.
You are a straight white man. You don't get to be the victim, sweetie.

"I have voted in the past for commonsense gun safety reforms only to see them run aground on Senate Republicans' filibuster; my bill presents a pathway to bypass that obstruction and enact lifesaving measures," the Virginia Democrat said. "That didn't pass, so now I'm open to vote for something completely fucking retarded!"
This would be very easy to shoot down based on the Left's own Environmental Justice/Social Justice platform, since it disproportionately discriminates against low income and minority citizens.

Hoist them on their own petard!

When they say they support minorities they're just virtue signaling. They actually hate poor people.
