A week to go, Biden essentially just called us all a threat to democracy, Fetterman and Shapiro have already shown their anti-2A colors, and nobody is headed to Harrisburg? I can*t believe this thread hasn*t gained more traction!

I'm with you there, it's really sad there isn't any enthusiasm given the last years events.

For those of us going, it seems that the consensus is that we should be prepared to go inside? Not sure if anything is happening on the steps now?

Well, there will be one more at the Capitol next Monday. I can't make the breakfast gathering so I'll appear at the parking garage. And, as always, the cookout in Dover.

I'm looking at it from a more practical angle. Is it worth driving 6.5 hours round trip on the most expensive toll road on the planet to stand outside with a just handful of others? The turnout for the last rally was abysmal. Do we know if Beaver Valley or the Moonies are still boycotting the rally? I feel like unless there's pending legislation against guns we just can't muster a decent number of people without them.

BVRPC and the Moonies didn't take their usual bus loads of people last year due to some dust up with Metcalfe. Or at least that's what I heard day of.

Regardless of who it*s run by, it*s a great opportunity to visit YOUR legislators in their offices, with PAFOA friends in tow, and let them know your thoughts on gun control, especially if you*ve got some waffling purple rino legislator from the five counties surrounding Philthy.

Plus you get to meet some interesting folks that you wouldn*t normally have a chance to chat with. A few years back I had a great chat with Maj Toure while waiting to get into the Capitol.
