Important to note that the agreed upon items of legislation have not been written yet. There is opportunity for Democrats to insert nefarious language into the bill at any point. We may see some vague and subjective language like "As determined by the Attorney General", which basically means that Left Wing Lunatic Garland can make up any law based on this framework. This legislation also supposedly closes the "boyfriend loophole" or in other words, there will be a "Revenge of the Crazy Ex Girlfriend" provision.

Is your young son or daughter taking prescribed medications for ADHD or Anxiety which list among the possible side effects "suicidal thoughts"...? Now at this point you may be smart to wonder whether that's going to be considered a mental health red flag for them when they are 18-21 year old adults who wish to buy a gun.

This framework may be hitting some good points about school resources and mental health, but give that Democrats hate the Constitution and America, and given the propensity of Democrats to lie, and of Government agencies to experience extreme mission creep, and engage in authoritarian nanny-state actions based on often radical interpretations of the law, this entire framework must be viewed as a huge danger.

Red Flag Laws should scare the hell out of Normal Americans. Among other things, let's hope that Republicans demand extreme penalties for false accusations, disallow a person's political affiliations to be used as "evidence", and forbid the use of anonymous tipsters and informants as justification for their seizures.

Define normal. Normal voted Biden in. Normal is scared of guns. Normal expects cops to protect them.

Unfortunately the system is broke and he who screams loudest gets what he wants.

There was nothing normal about the 2020 election.

They should also scare the hell out of the people enforcing them.

Red Flag laws are Civil Forfeiture on steroids. Now the government will be able to pay individuals with taxpayer money to Red Flag anyone that opposes them.

Thank heavens for age discrimination laws which will protect older folks from the clutches of disgruntled relatives and medical practitioners.

Hahaha. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Why are we giving anything, when we're not getting anything?
