Re: Senate Gun Deal announced
If the red flag proposal becomes law without due process, it will be litigated in the appeals court.
That being said, the democrats are just as unhappy as we are over this tentative agreement. The big push for an AWB ban could not get through the Democrat controlled house of representatives.
Of course dementia joe made some typically idiotic statements that helped us like 9MM bullets hitting a persons chest and blowing their lungs out their back, thus being to powerful for a citizen to own. That statement continued to be used by our side as an example of bidens real agenda.
Some of the senate proposals are already addressed by current law, such as the straw purchase language and firearm trafficking.

The Senate gun control agreement that emerged Sunday adds an “investigative period” to some firearm background checks.

Re: Senate Gun Deal announced
I think I know where I stand on this, and I might be OK with it. I thought I read they want juvenile criminal records to be available for BGC's. Does a juvenile record get sealed or expunged at 18 where there might be something prohibiting there?
I know there shouldn't really be any BGC, etc., but if a kid has some bad stuff in his past when he was 17, and at 18 that doesn't show up...
I really don't know how all that works.

So, you can't be trusted with a firearm at 18, but you can be trusted to vote. You can't make your own firearms without registering them, and you must register all firearms you have made within 30 months. You can't purchase any magazines with a capacity greater than 15.[/QUOTE]
... with exceptions ( AKA you can go die for us but beyond that you cannot be trusted)
