Sterling MkIV SMG, which also happens to be a handy 8" barreled PCC with stock extended, in either semi- or automatic fire:

The most reliable SMG / 9mm PCC I've ever owned or fired.

Yup. Hi Point isn't 'the best' but on a dollars/value basis it rocks. I've been seriously considering getting one.

PCC are for target shooting, therefore .22LR, therefore the ruger 10/22 https://ruger.com/products/1022Carbine/models.html. enjoy!

Serious. The problem is people grab those pcc in a real situation and start to think they are as powerful as .223 or other rifle calibers. If you have time to get and carry something that big you need rifle cartridges.

I actually think this way, too. If you're grabbing a rifle (carbine) in a defensive situation shoot a rifle caliber.

I went back and forth between a PCC and AR and ultimately settled on an AR for this reason.

i have a KR-9 and a Stribog Sp9a1 and either would be fine for inside a building but id still rather go with a rifle caliber.
