lol Moore is mainstream? He's just a little out of touch about what is mainstream. Repeal the Second Amendment? Aren't the first 10 Amendments called the Bill of Rights? Anyway, does he understand what it takes to repeal an Amendment?

A repeal of an amendment goes through the same process as ratifying a new amendment:

An amendment may be proposed by a two-thirds vote of both Houses of Congress, or, if two-thirds of the States request one, by a convention called for that purpose. The amendment must then be ratified by three-fourths of the State legislatures, or three-fourths of conventions called in each State for ratification.

So, first it must be proposed, with 66 votes needed in the Senate. and 2/3 of the House. Or 2/3 of the States. Then ratified by 3/4 of the States. 37? Good luck with that. Maybe by 2050 or so?


I just noticed in the older threads that Moore called for this new Amendment 5 years ago. I guess that didn't go so well.
