I'm sewing the brace onto my jacket and my AR pistols just have buffer tubes. So if the buffer tube just happens to slip
into the brace hole in my jacket, it's an honest mistake... Please don't shoot my dog

the atf is making up the rules as they go regardless of the law cause no one will stop them. also the "final" brace rules arent even set. it also seems like anything with a brace will need to be registered because the atf wants them to be.

From what I understood of that video is the atf got a strongly worded letter from congress to back down, so it will likely be business as usual with no changes, just like the last time they tried to put this restriction through.

As far as I understand it, you aren't getting a free SBR - you're getting a free registration and full documentation, complete with a PHOTO of your brace-equipped pistol.

Basically, you are kissing the ATFs ass to keep your brace - NOT getting a free pass to take your brace off and put a stock on it afterwards.
