Was direction ever officially enacted on pistol braces? I thought it quietly went away in the comment phase, but last night Fox was saying it was part of the ghost gun executive order.

I assume I am smarter than fox, but wanted to double check. Google proved worthless.

Braces are not illegal. The ATF now has a points system to determine the legality of how the weapon is configured with a brace on it.

If I recall properly this went into effect in March. The link was just the first I found to explain what was going on with braces.

Was looking around and found the new rules WILL go into effect in August this year.
