Plan a Pistol Brace march the day AFTER the amnesty deadline or whatever. Seriously, just don’t comply. I don’t. I declared my area a “2A Sanctuary Space”. Anywhere I walk, my personal space is just that.

The whole objective is mission creep. If they can get away with this de facto registration, next thing you know they'll expand it to all semi auto rifles, then all rifles and all pistols.

Once they are confident they know where everything is, then they can start passing total bans and do "buybacks" or seizures, as we have seen in other countries.

Certainly there will be remaining stuff hidden, just like in Australia, NZ and Canada, but you can't get parts for it, you can't sell it legally and if you use it or get caught with it they throw you in jail for longer than a murderer.

That's sort of how I see it too.

They're like "Let's see how many people register these, before we outright ban ownership of any "pistol form" of AR15."

Its all about cosmetics. Something a lot of people will pay for. My 9mm ar pistol looks more badderasser without the brace anyway.
