Yeah but the lead-up to that had to be one horrible ride that I'd rather not take.

Yeah he got lucky when the DA repeatedly made Kyles case for him. He got what he deserved. Which is nothing.

Philly is on my list of place to not go for all the reasons we've seen in the last few years under the chaos administration.

I wanted to get feedback, experience , or anything related from someone who has recently open carried in the past year. Previously all I*ve read was that cops would harass or give you a hard time. I*ve also read some good laws suits that made the city retrain their officers.

Also, does anyone know of groups that organize open carry walks or private groups to join for discussions?

Viper broke that ground pretty solidly. At this point a cop pestering you is not only violating state law, but several moptec trainings (yearly cop con Ed) and it is covered much better in the academy from what I understand due to the lawsuits, in addition to Philly PD being under specific court orders.

Carson can likely provide more specific information.

Haven't seen much from Carson lately.

Agree... questionable judgment to OC, unless one lives in a bumfuck PA county.

The example I like to use is Giants or Redskin fans wearing their colors into Veteran's Stadium back in the day. They were asking for a beer shower at best or a beating at worst.

Carson is a good guy and all but I think he took offense to the last words we shared. He hasn't been back since.
