Re: 9MM Pocket Pistols
As stated above I have had pretty much all of them out the DB-9 or Rohrbaugh 9 is the only 9mm true pocket pistols
. The 938 is way to heavy to wear in a pair of running shorts been there done that and the LC-9 is too big.. The first DB-9 I had about 10 years ago was not reliable but I will probably buy the new model just to try it. If I pocket carry it is an MP 340 357 revolver you don't know it is even there. I have a few guns I will never get rid of the MP 340 is one of them. JMO

Funny how these things go, I*ve gone the opposite direction of you. I*ve traditionally carried a 9 of some sort. I recently switched to the Ruger lcp max in .380 specifically for pocket carry. I like the capacity and the feel of the gun. It is light weight and the perfect pocket carry. I have not touched a 9 in months.

Re: 9MM Pocket Pistols
I'm going to be checking out a Taurus GX4 tomorrow. I've had nothing but success with Taurus compact pistols so far.

Re: 9MM Pocket Pistols
Following up on this, I went to Trop this morning and handled the Gx4, comparing to the Gc3, and was disappointed by the minimal size difference. The specs give the numbers, which seem significant, but when handled and compared side-by-side, there is not enough difference to justify the purchase, because there is not enough difference to be a significant improvement for pocket carry. I also held the Ruger MAX 9 and Sig P365, and came away with the same impression. I don't think they would be any better than the Gc3 I currently own.

Late to the game, and don't post often.
I throw my PM9 in my pocket all the time. I've had it for years. Great little pistol.

Re: 9MM Pocket Pistols
I am a fan of the SA Hellcat as a pocket gun. Holster selection is equally, if not slightly more, important when figuring out what will work for you. I never tried it with gym shorts, but would think a belly band style holster might be better suited for that.

Re: 9MM Pocket Pistols
For a summer pocket pistol I carry a Ruger Max 9. Winter carry is a SA 1911.
