Default School me on when you're legally allowed to carry in a school.

Can anyone point me to the exact wording? I believe you're allowed to carry in a school when there for non-school related things like voting. What else?

The correct answer is either "always" or "never" (when otherwise acting lawfully), depending on how you, and local LE/prosecutor interpret what the statute says.

There is no differentiation between school being in or out of session, presence of students, or any other qualifier, beyond doing so for a "lawful purpose".

I was at a non-school event at a middle school. One of the presenters was carrying and the 2 LEOS present for security, who were notified by the presenter that he was carrying, had no issue with it. They just joked if the guy was packing, why did they need to be there.

If I worked in a school I'd be strongly considering testing lawful purpose and wouldn't care about my employment status.

Would you care about your incarceration status?

Just ridiculous how 2A "decisions", or most decisions for that matter, are never clear and concise. They just continue to cloud the law, you have to wonder what the motivation is.
