    I'll just say this......when I was teaching in classrooms (circa 2008-2011), I was not unprepared for violent events.....

    The other half is a teacher in a not so great area. I just hope I don't get a phone call saying a shooting has happened in her school.

    We need to fix the mental health system in this country.

    Must have a license to carry firearms to exempt you from gun free school zone federal law...otherwise you cannot touch it with a 1000ft pole.

    That's curious. I remember a guy getting charged for walking his dog past a school, at night, in the summer. He was open carrying though, but had a permit.

    Like I said, I'd consider testing lawful purpose. Yes I'd care about my incarceration status but it would basically be a civil disobedience situation.
