Default Does PA recognize any other state's CCW license?

Does PA recognize any other state's ccw license?

I'm moving out of PA soon, and I'm hoping to get other nonresident licenses from other state(s) to cover as many states as possible.

States I'd like to possibly carry in, in the future:
    Nevada
    Florida
    PA

Anyone know if there is one state that will cover all 3 as nonresident?

I've been playing with the usacarry.com map with no luck. Thanks.

edit: I'm moving to Hawaii :,(

PA has reciprocity with a good number of states but they only seem to honor resident permits so no, FL, AZ, UT, etc non-resident permits won't fly here. Check the state you are moving to and see if PA grants reciprocity. Alternatively, you can still get a PA LTCF after you get one from the state you move to.

I should've added that I'm moving to Hawaii, which basically never issues CCW licenses. That's why I was looking outside both PA and Hawaii for something that would cover PA, NV and FL. Looks like I might not be able to carry in PA once my resident license expires...

You might be SOL all the way around, I don't know. It is possible that they all require you to have a license to carry from your home state before allowing you to get one of theirs unless you hail from a state that has none, like NH. You should look into that.

I guess my preliminary plan was to get the nonresident ccw for Utah while still here in PA, which should be good for 5 years. But I wonder what happens after that and I have to renew with a Hawaii address and no Hawaii ccw license.

Without even looking into NV and FL, the only way you'll be able to carry here in PA after the move is to continue to hold a PA LTCF.

As a Hawaii resident, you must first hold a license there, to qualify for the PA LTCF. Hawaii is a "may issue" state. You must show good cause, and in-state, if you manage to get one, it's only good in the county that issued it.

Unless the pending SCOTUS decision strikes down the whole "show cause" requirement as unconstitutional, I'd say odds are long that you'll easily get what you need.

    Keep your fingers crossed!
