It worked out great for powering the AC in our pop up trailer.

I just ordered a new Champion 2500 dual fuel inverter. My other generator (also Champion) is gas only, and is not parallel compatible. Now to get a couple extra 20lbs propane tanks.

    Cruise Craigslist.

There are 30 and 100 pounders available too. More storage for the same size footprint.

Gasoline is quite short lived these days and you may have to swap it out once a year or so to ensure yours is not gone foul,
I would love to pick up a small diesel Generator as I feel that fuel storage and availability is easier,
You have to have storage area available for several gas cans.

You have to rotate the gas because it does go bad.

Young folks have no problem pouring 5 gallons of gas into a vehicle using a funnel

As I age and grow so much better ....just like a great cheese, I found that
buying a small battery powered pump works better for me.

Don't try and prep all at once. This month go buy a gas can and fill it

    Next month do it again

Pretty soon you'll have as much as you can store and are comfortable with.

At that point, start rotating into your daily drivers.

I carried today....for the first time in a long time.

But I only had one...so does that mean I wasn't really carrying?

Unusually, I was also carrying a big knife.

Between the two of them, was I carrying one of anything?

Depends. Are you going to give a manicure in self-defense?
