PA House District 99 - New Map
Anyone in the Northeast area of Lancaster County and Southwest (ish) portion of Berks, you may find a new name on your ballot today for your State Representative.
Due to the PA Supreme Court’s highly partisan redistricting, you may now find yourself in the newly drawn 99th district and represented by incumbent Republican Dave Zimmerman.
He is unchallenged in today’s primary but will be facing a democrat challenger from Berks in November.
Rep Zimmerman is a solid as solid gets, rest assured you will be happy to be in the 99th
Some on poofa may have met him at the Capitol rallies in the past, as he makes a point to engage with the 2A rallies. He’s a solid supporter of the 2A and will not budge.
He is the ONLY Republican who both voted against Act 77 in its original form AND is currently a plaintiff in the active lawsuit against the state on the unconstitutional passage of Act 77
The establishment isn’t fast to back him because he doesn’t blindly trust the establishment players.
He is also on the ballot for State Committee from Lancaster County
