Not true. You are always ready to throw it down with the Lowe*s employees in the lumber aisle!

Sounds like the sheriff needs to pull or prevent a LTCF issue.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Not sure how you can to that conclusion - but somehow - it doesn't surprise me.

Fighting over a dumpster is really scraping with someone.

It's certainly a good way to trash your reputation.

It depends. If it's your dumpster and you're responsible for what goes in it, people dumping shit that they're not supposed to in your dumpster may be problematic, resulting in fee's that you are responsible for. When I worked at the family restaurant we had a bad neighbor who would not only use our dumpster but abuse it. We feuded for months until we ended up putting a lock on it.

I was going to say, I think you can put locks on them.

Ah well and good. So, you commit a crime and assault them? That seems reasonable to you?

No. You solved it without committing a crime (as far as I know). Good job!

It wasn't ours, it was a rented dumpster, we had to get the dumpster renter to put the lock on. Which they didn't want to do.

Yes, but there were more than one heated arguments with the bad neighbor who swore it wasn't him, despite we would watch him on security camera after hours dumping in it. Any argument can elevate to violence if the other guy is a big enough asshole.
