While not my cup of tea, whatever will help keep leverguns being produced - I'm for.

I love leverguns, but not as many are being made these days. And now their prices are through the F'n roof!

I have zero problems with a "tactical" lever gun. If the antis ever succeed at banning ARs and other semi-auto rifles, a good lever action may be one of a handful of alternatives. And if you think lever guns are expensive now....

I think certain guns like lever guns should maintain their traditional looks and wood stocks but a rail mounted on top of the receiver isn't bad if it makes mounting a scope easier. I also prefer the look of the traditional wood/wire butt stock on AK47's, AR15 stocks on AK's just looks a bit ridicules to me but to each his own.

Never doubt that if the anti's ever successfully ban semi autos they won't then go after lever, pump, bolt action guns and revolvers.

That's always been their end game, but a total gun ban is next to impossible. Not in our lifetimes, at least.
