We are past the point where government respects laws, I don't think stuff like this is our biggest concern. If they don't like you they'll find something.

IF (note the bold) I was to become a felon tomorrow (in 120 days, whatever), what impetus do I have to continue following 'their' laws?

14" CQB with a can and a happy switch? Sure, why not?

Mounting a Ma-Deuce in the bed of my truck? Yeah, baby.

Going to the post office without locking up my EDC?

Cats and dogs sleeping in the same beds?

Unintended consequences, y'all. Have they considered them?

Anodized aluminum i've been considering for a project went up $10 over night. Should I just buy 10 now? What about uppers? Buy them too? Will I not be able to get my future projects?

Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government.

OK, so to sidestep this "new regulation" legally, what if everyone used the same number to serialize their home built gun ? What if you micro stamped a serial number on the gun ? It would meet the new requirement .
Lower your expectations to zero and you'll never be disappointed.

No. The serial number must be engraved into the receiver a minimum depth of .003 of on inch and be at least 1/16 of an inch in height.
We the people love our country so let the government fear us.

I guess the devil really is in the details.

I don't think the ruling affects individuals.
